Headed for Home Diptych

from $30.00

This diptych is inspired by the view near Chugiak High School. Outside the classroom window is a mountain range, the Chugach Mountains, that I am fortunate enough to catch some amazing sunrises, and the alpenglow effect of the opposing sunset.

The colors in this artwork are from the browns and blues of late fall. The typical fall colors are short lived, leaving a period of time full of browns before snow arrives. The looseness of the paint application leaves a subtle implication of brown trees scattered in the foreground and leading up into the mountains into the background.

The diptych includes two separate artworks, each artwork square in dimension. Pricing indicates the cost of both prints included in the diptych.
